Chepstow Show will run as advertised this Saturday
Show Day is forecast to be particularly hot with the Met Office issuing an amber weather warning for Southern England & Wales. Temperatures of 29C to 31C are expected during the afternoon. Visitors need to be suitably equipped with sufficient liquids, sunscreen & head protection and consider bringing umbrellas as there is very little natural shade on site. Met Office guidance suggests individuals vulnerable to extreme heat should think about the wisdom of attending.
Gates open at 9am with the Main Ring Programme commencing at 10am. Items entered in the Homecraft & Horticulture competitions must be in place by 10AM. Please note these tents will then be closed for judging, reopening around 12.
Adults £10, Children 11-16 £5, under 11 Free.
Due to the risk of grass fires the organisers request that "NO SMOKING" signs be strictly observed.
